Breese & Earle Electrical Services Ltd have just completed the electrical installation works to three industrial units at the new Birmingham Wholesale Market in Witton, Birmingham.

Breese & Earle were approached by Hegashall Ltd to undertake the full design and installation of the complete electrical package on the project which included high bay LED lighting and emergency lighting utilising the latest LED technology. The 200W high bay fittings with a 5700K output and a colour rendering index (CRI) of more than 80 provided a crisp, clean light output whilst ensuring a true representation of colour. This form of lighting is essential in the food wholesale market and was specific design request from the client as the wholesale markets main sales operations are mostly undertaken overnight.

In addition to the lighting installation Breese & Earle were also responsible for all power to the internal offices and cold storage facilities, electric heating and hot water to the internal offices and the complete structured wiring and point of sales infrastructure.

Under the supervision of Breese & Earle, a new CCTV system to the three units covering the sales, storage and office areas was installed.

The entire installation was completed and fully commissioned on time and in budget for the planned opening of the wholesale market on 8^th May 2018.
